Our Recipe

Kitchen of Kindness is a community initiative in Coral Springs, where we come together to prepare and deliver fresh, homemade kosher meals to anyone who could use a little extra care. It is a project of Chai Center, created in honor of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky and his lifelong mission to bring care and dignity to every Jew. We believe that cooking and giving are meaningful ways to support one another, whether it is your first time volunteering or you have been with us for a while. Every package we deliver carries warmth and respect and serves as a simple message that you matter and you are part of our community. Everyone is welcome here and there is always a spot for you.

Rooted in the Rebbe's Vision

Before Kitchen of Kindness packed its first pan of food, the Lubavitcher Rebbe was shaping how America feeds hungry families. When Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm felt stuck on the Agriculture Committee, the Rebbe encouraged her to use that “unwanted” assignment to make sure children and parents had food on the table, leading to the expansion of programs like SNAP and WIC.

Kitchen of Kindness is our local answer to that same call. Fresh, homemade kosher meals, delivered with dignity, to neighbors who need it. As Shirley Chisholm later said, “If not for the Rebbe, many more children in this country would go to bed hungry.”
